Shipping & Fulfillment Policy
Our invoice-centric model guarantees fair rates and zero hidden fees.
1. An Invoice-Centric Store
Otaku's Wonderland operates as an Invoice-Centric specialty boutique. To protect you from predatory automated shipping algorithms, we manually assess complex, fragile, or oversized orders. While you may pay a base flat rate at checkout, complex orders (such as oversized figures, multi-box shipments, or international destinations) receive clear, exact carrier invoices prior to dispatch.
2. Domestic US Shipping
We offer a $5.69 Base Flat Rate for standard packages delivered anywhere within the 48 Contiguous United States via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes due to carrier restrictions on large collectible cartons.
3. International Shipping (Canada, Switzerland & Global)
🇨🇦 Canada: We offer a $10.00 USD Flat Rate to street addresses in Canadian provinces, shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) via Shopify Markets—duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout so nothing is owed upon delivery. (Excludes PO Boxes and Canadian Territories).
🇨🇭 Switzerland & Europe: We maintain active direct shipping channels to Switzerland utilizing fast, reliable express couriers (DHL Express, FedEx, UPS).
🌍 Other International Destinations: Orders for all other global destinations are fulfilled via custom invoice. Shipments outside Canada ship DAP (Delivered at Place), making local taxes and customs clearing the recipient's responsibility.
4. Tariff Transparency Guarantee
Otaku's Wonderland is committed to total price transparency. Following federal rulings invalidating unlawful emergency IEEPA tariffs, we guarantee that no illegal or unannounced government tariff surcharges will ever be passed on to our consumers. The figure price and shipping quote you see are clear, honest, and free of hidden government recovery fees.
5. Split Boxes & Multi-Item Orders
To prevent crushing and box damage during transit, we never force items into undersized boxes. Our standard safety box limit is 12x12x12 inches. If a multi-item order requires multiple boxes for structural integrity, a secondary invoice for a $5.00 fee per additional box will be issued. Your order will remain on hold until the secondary box fee is paid.
6. Oversized Figures (1/4 Scales & Resins)
Massive 1/4 scale figures and large resin statues are excluded from standard flat-rate tiers due to volumetric weight. At checkout, shipping for oversized items displays as $0.00 (TBD). Once packed and weighed at our NY facility, you will receive an exact carrier invoice (UPS/USPS/FedEx) for the actual shipping costs.
In-Stock & Split-Box Invoices: Payment must be completed within 7 calendar days. Unpaid invoices after 7 days result in forceful order cancellation and a 10% restocking/cancellation fee deducted from your refund.
Pre-Order & Incoming Arrival Invoices: When your figure arrives at our NY facility, an automated final balance invoice is sent. You have 30 calendar days to complete payment. Unpaid invoices past 30 days result in immediate order termination, deposit retention, and account suspension.
